Our Shea butter is an off-white or ivory-colored fat extracted from the nut of the African Shea tree. Shea butter is a triglyceride derived mainly from Stearic acid and Oleic acid. It is widely used in cosmetics as a moisturizer or lotion. Shea nut butter is physiy extracted from Shea nuts and results in an off-white color with a characteristic aroma. Our Shea Butter is virgin meaning it is unrefined ensuring a high level of quality is delivered and sustainable practices are in place.
