Bxmgr GK-R Keypad Temporary Password
The Bxmgr GK-R’s keypad opener can be set up with a temporary code, so you don’t have to wait at home to allow a repairman, plumber, or electrician access to your garage or house door. You’re free to go out and exercise or travel because once the master code is entered, the temporary code is instantly erased, keeping you safe!
The programming of the temporary code is explained in detail in the manual, so you can follow the steps.
I use one keypad to control three garage doors, do I need to set three different passwords?
You have two options, you can choose to set three different passwords, or you can choose to set the same password.
Do you need to reprogram the battery when replacing it?
No programing is lost when replacing the batteries.
How do you change pin?
To change an Existing PIN:
1. Enter current PIN
2. Press the PROGRAM key once.
3. Enter a new PIN.
4. Press the PROGRAM key once.
To set a temp pin do I need to push program key on the opener itself? How hard to set a few one time pins?
You can set a temporary pin number on the keypad itself. You can only set one temporary pin number at a time. On the Keypad:
1. Enter current PIN.
2. Press PROGRAM key 3 times.
3. Enter a temporary PIN (3 to 8 digits)
4. Press PROGRAM key once.
