Bee Venom is extracted from Honeybees using low electrical current running through frames on a glass base. These frames are installed in honey hives and bees that come into contact with the wire electrodes will receive a small electrical shock. How to know if you have Allergy for Bee Venom?
If you have allergy to bee sting, you may have allergic reaction when you use bee venom skin care products. When you have allergy to bee sting, if you have a break in the skin, then it might be exposed to bloodstream and your chances to develop allergy is higher but If your skin is intact, chance of developing an allergy reaction is low even if you have allergy to bee sting.
When you want to patch test, you want to look for 3 different things: Allergic Reactions, Pore Clogging, Skin Irritation.
To test for allergic reactions – apply to the side of your neck. Skin around this area is the thinnest so more reactive.
To test Pore Clogging or Breakouts – apply to the chin or T Zone.
To test Skin Irritation – Test wherever you feel you are more sensitive. For most people this is between your brows, on your cheeks or around your mouth.
If your skin is bumpy, itchy, or painful stop using the product. If you see a reaction, wash the area with water and the gentle cleanser and follow up with a basic moisturizer.
