How It Works – Ingrown Hairs
Ingrown hairs occur when a hair follicle becomes clogged with dead skin cells. If those particles – also known as the “dead layer” – arenât removed, they trap hairs under the epidermis. The result is an ingrown hair thatâs painful and inflamed.

How It Works – Razor Bumps
Razor bumps appear when the hair is cut off where it exits the skin, curls back and starts growing inwards. The body recognizes this hair as a foreign object and triggers an inflammatory response that includes redness, itchiness and a raised area. It looks a bit like a pimple – thus the âbumpsâ in razor bumps.
The Dylonicâs flexible bristles lift the stubborn hair out of the skin. Once the hair is lifted, it can be easily shaved off, leaving behind nothing but a smooth, bump-free skin.
