EASY TO INSTALL
Thread Sealant, Screwdriver, Plumber’s Putty, Adhesive caulk
Remove Old Parts
- To remove the handle, remove the screw (A); use a hex wrench or screwdriver as needed. Lift off the handle (B), and remove the stem sleeve (C) and nipple (D)U
- se pliers or a socket wrench (H) to gently turn the stem (E) counter-clockwise.
- Remove the old poly washer (F). Insert seat wrench (I) into the valve body to remove the old seat (G) by turning counter-clockwise.
Install New Parts
- Apply pipe thread sealant or thread sealant tape on the new seat (G), and tighten the core into the valve body by using the seat wrench (I)P
- lace the new poly washer (F), **the larger OD is for the diverter stem and the rest of the two smaller ODs are for the Hot and Cold stem, of each stem (F)**. Thread the stem into the valve body with the socket wrench (H) and pliers. Check any leaking by turning on the water (Pro Tip).I
- nstall the new nipple (D), stem sleeve (C) and handle (B) to the desire place. The handle (B) must fit on the broach of each stem and tighten with the screw (A). –Turn on tub faucet again to check for leaks.
